Description

Working with clay offers insight into one of Morocco’s most widespread forms of craftsmanship. This pottery workshop in Tangier focuses on the creative process, from shaping to final finishing.

During the session, participants learn how to use the pottery wheel and shape pieces using basic techniques. Guidance from an experienced artisan helps make each stage clear and accessible.

The workshop also introduces finishing and glazing techniques, allowing each piece to develop its final appearance while improving control over the material.

After the session, the pieces are placed in a kiln for firing and glazing, a process that typically takes between 3 and 4 weeks before they are ready for collection.

The activity takes place in a calm working environment designed to support focus and learning.
