Description
Departing from Tangier, this full-day excursion combines two of northern Morocco’s most distinctive settings: the blue-painted streets of Chefchaouen and the natural landscapes of Akchour.
The journey begins with a scenic drive through mountainous areas towards Chefchaouen. Once there, your guide leads a walking tour through the medina, where shades of blue and white define the character of the city and create its well-known visual identity.
The route includes key spots such as the main square, the kasbah and the traditional souks, where local crafts and daily life come together. You will also pass through the former Jewish quarter, adding a cultural layer to the visit.
After some free time to rest or have lunch at your own expense, the experience continues towards Akchour. Here, a local guide accompanies a walk along mountain trails leading to the area’s waterfalls.
The sound of flowing water and the surrounding scenery create a slower, more relaxed atmosphere, offering a natural contrast to the earlier part of the day before returning to Tangier.
