We will pick you up by bus, together with our guide, at the selected time and meeting point to begin the excursion to Granada, including tickets to the Alhambra. During the journey, you’ll enjoy the scenic route along Málaga and the Costa del Sol while our guide shares stories and interesting facts about the city of Granada. There will also be a stop for breakfast before reaching our destination. Be amazed by the views of the Sierra Nevada!
Once in Granada, you will have approximately 2 hours of free time to stroll through its streets of Nasrid origin. Visit the Granada Cathedral, a Renaissance masterpiece symbolizing the glory of the Catholic Monarchs in 1492. Discover Plaza Nueva, the oldest square in Granada and a key crossroads in the historic center. See the Torre de la Vela, explore the famous Elvira Street—also known as the “tea house street”—and enjoy the renowned Granada tapas in the city’s bars and restaurants. Walk along Carrera del Darro, one of the most photographed streets, and fall in love with the Paseo de los Tristes, at the foot of the Alhambra and the Albaicín.
We will then continue to the Alhambra of Granada, where you will visit the Generalife Gardens and the Palace of Charles V, commissioned by the emperor for the city. Explore the Medina, the citadel featuring public baths, ovens, workshops, silos, cisterns, and the residences of high officials. See the Rauda, the royal cemetery, and the Alcazaba, the fortified military complex. Discover the Nasrid Palaces, the royal residence of the kings of Granada, including the famous Court of the Lions, and the Generalife, the leisure palace of the sultans.
Alhambra tickets are limited and in high demand. You will meet the guide at the designated time and place before heading to passport control to validate your tickets. You will spend approximately 3 hours inside the monument on a guided tour, during which the group may be divided depending on the selected option: Nasrid Palaces.
