Description
The eastern area of Málaga brings together some of the most characteristic landscapes of the Costa del Sol and the Axarquía region. This excursion offers the chance to discover in one day the contrast between the white village of Frigiliana and the Mediterranean atmosphere of Nerja.
The day begins with pick-up from various points across Málaga and the Costa del Sol, followed by a scenic route heading east with views of both the coastline and the mountainous interior.
The first stop is Frigiliana, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Andalusia. You will have free time to explore its Moorish old town, with cobbled streets, whitewashed houses and decorative ceramic details. During your visit, you can enjoy viewpoints overlooking the valley and the sea, as well as a tasting of local wine accompanied by a tapa.
The journey continues to Nerja, where you will have several hours to explore this coastal town at your own pace. You may stroll through its old quarter to the Balcón de Europa, a viewpoint set on a cliff with wide views over the Mediterranean, or head towards Burriana Beach.
You will also have the option to discover spots linked to popular culture, such as the area where the replica of the boat from the series Verano Azul is located, as well as enjoy local gastronomy in nearby bars and restaurants.
Between white streets, sea views and the relaxed pace of these villages, the day becomes an opportunity to experience the brightest side of the Andalusian Mediterranean.
