Description
We will pick you up at your selected meeting point to begin our excursion to Seville from Málaga and the Costa del Sol. Seville is located approximately 210 km from Málaga, and the journey takes around 3 hours. Along the way, we will make a short stop so you can have breakfast and use the restrooms before continuing towards the Andalusian capital.
Get ready to enjoy a day full of history, culture, and the unique charm of Seville!
Upon arrival in Seville at around 11:00 a.m., you will enjoy panoramic views from the bus, passing iconic landmarks such as Paseo de Colón, the Guadalquivir River, Avenida de las Palmeras, and, in the background, the famous María Luisa Park. During your free time, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the renowned Plaza de España—a place full of history and beauty. Walk through the representations of Spain’s autonomous regions and capture unforgettable photos.
We will continue along the Murillo Gardens before entering Seville’s Old Town, arriving at Puerta de Jerez—one of the city’s most historic and emblematic gateways, located in the heart of Seville near major monuments and the Torre del Oro.
From Puerta de Jerez, the group will split depending on the selected option. We offer three ways to discover Seville in one day.
You will start with free time to explore the charming, narrow streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, famous for its legends and hidden corners. Discover Plaza de Doña Elvira and Plaza de Santa Cruz, both surrounded by orange trees and filled with authentic Andalusian charm. Admire the flower-filled patios, stroll along Callejón del Agua next to the Alcázar walls, and see the statue of Don Juan Tenorio in Plaza de los Refinadores. This picturesque neighborhood offers a truly captivating atmosphere.
Your walk can end at Plaza del Triunfo, where your guide will explain how to reach the meeting point for the visit to the majestic Royal Alcázar of Seville. The visit will begin around 1:30 p.m., and you will have approximately 45 minutes beforehand to grab a quick lunch.
Once reunited with the group, you will take a pleasant walk to the entrance of the Royal Alcázar, passing through streets lined with traditional façades and local shops. Along the way, enjoy views of the Church of El Sagrario, soak in the authentic Sevillian atmosphere, and admire the impressive Giralda as you arrive at Plaza del Triunfo.
Accompanied by a local guide, you will then enter the Royal Alcázar of Seville—one of the oldest royal palaces still in use in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This extraordinary complex of buildings and gardens has served as a residence for Spanish royalty for centuries and was also a filming location for the famous series Game of Thrones.
Explore its various rooms and courtyards, each showcasing different architectural styles, from Islamic art to Renaissance and Baroque influences. Be amazed by the Patio de las Doncellas and the Hall of Ambassadors, with their intricate decoration, detailed tilework, and stunning arabesques.
You will also enjoy a walk through the beautiful gardens, where fountains and pathways create a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. This visit is ideal for those seeking a more complete experience and wishing to discover every corner of this fascinating royal palace.
From approximately 3:00 p.m., you will have free time to explore Seville at your own pace and enjoy its gastronomy. The duration of free time will depend on your monument entry time.
At the time indicated by your guide, around 4:00 p.m., the group will meet again at Puerta de Jerez and return to the bus for the journey back to Málaga. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the original departure points.
