Description
Enjoy an excursion from Pamplona to the Irati Forest and Ochagavía, perfect for discovering two essentials of the Navarrese Pyrenees in a single day. We depart for the Irati Forest, one of the largest beech and fir forests in Europe, to walk along marked trails through clearings, rivers, and green slopes while your guide shares myths, legends, and curiosities of the woods. In autumn, the landscape transforms into a spectacle of reds and golds, and natural viewpoints open up views of deep valleys alongside the Irati and Urtxuria rivers. Afterward, we continue to Ochagavía, a stone-built village featuring bridges, a church, and historic mansions. You will have free time for lunch (not included) before returning to Pamplona.
