What the experience includes
Departure from the airport towards the coastal town of La Caleta, surprising geological coast and natural pools.
We will visitTamadeaswhich stands out for the natural marine river and the volcanic ash that surrounds it. We went up through the capitalValverde, the only one that is not on the coast until the Mirador de Las Pernadas to contemplate the coastal town of Tamaduste from above.
We cross the villages of the northEl Mocanal, Erese and Guarazocauntil theLa Pena Viewpoint, the work of the famous architect Cesar Manrique from where we can admire the stunning views of the Gulf Valley or the municipality of La Frontera. From there we continue to climb to the Mirador de Las Playa, crossing the oldest and highest towns of San Andrés along with the countryside.
From the Mirador you can see, among other things, theParador Nacional and El Roque de la Bonanza.
From there we headed towards La Restinga, where the last underwater volcanic eruption took place, passing through the municipality ofEl Pinar. Back on the summit road through Mount Laurisilva towards the municipality of Frontera where lunch will take place and visit the surroundings ofThe church of La Candelariaof the 18th century and which has the bell tower separated from the central body, at the top of the mountain.
