Leaving Madrid behind, the route heads into the vineyard landscapes of Ribera del Duero, a region known for shaping some of Spain’s most recognised wines.
The day begins with a drive into the countryside, followed by visits to three wineries, each presenting a different approach. The first introduces a larger-scale production, where you walk through vineyards and production areas to understand how grapes are transformed into wine.
The second stop shifts to a smaller, family-run setting, with underground cellars where ageing takes place. Here, the tasting unfolds closer to the environment in which the wine develops.
Midway through the experience, there is time for lunch, with a choice between a traditional meal or a picnic among the vines, depending on the season. This pause naturally separates the visits before the final stop.
The last winery focuses on small-scale production, where direct contact with the winemaker offers a more personal perspective on the craft.
Across the day, the experience builds gradually, not just through tastings, but through the way each place reveals a different layer of the region.

We'll meet you at our pick-up point or a pre-agreed address before heading roughly two hours to the Ribera del Duero appellation.
We will visit the first of our wineries, which is a larger, more commercially focused operation. We'll pass through part of their vineyards to learn more about the grape growing cycle before heading indoors to learn about winemaking processes. We finish with a tasting of three wines and snacks.

Visit to a smaller, family-operated winery. We will have the opportunity to walk beneath the vineyard and see the underground cellar where we will taste wine directly from the barrel. After that, we'll head up for a tasting of wine paired with cheese.
