Segovia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, preserves one of the most representative historic ensembles in Castile. This excursion from Madrid offers a comprehensive way to explore the city, combining guided visits with time to experience its atmosphere at your own pace.
The journey begins with a coach transfer to the centre of Segovia. On arrival, the route starts at the Azoguejo Square, where the Roman Aqueduct stands as one of the most iconic constructions of ancient Rome. From there, the walking tour follows cobbled streets leading towards the Plaza Mayor, passing landmarks such as the Casa de los Picos and the Church of San Martín.
The visit includes views of the exterior of the Alcázar of Segovia, a fortress closely linked to the Castilian monarchy and set on an elevated position overlooking the surrounding landscape. You may also choose to access the interior of the Segovia Cathedral, where its late Gothic architecture, chapels and nave can be explored in detail.
After the guided tour, you will have free time to continue discovering the city, browse local shops or wander through the historic centre before returning to Madrid.
