Description
Explore the Ribera del Duero region on a full-day experience designed to introduce you to one of Spain’s most renowned wine areas. Throughout the day, you will gain insight into its identity through visits to two wineries with different approaches.
The journey begins with a transfer from Madrid towards the denomination of origin, where you will learn about its background, history, and defining characteristics. During the first visit, you will tour the facilities and access traditional areas such as underground tunnels linked to the winemaking process.
The second winery presents a more contemporary perspective. Weather permitting, you will walk through the vineyards to understand vine growth before heading inside to explore production and ageing areas. The visit concludes with a guided tasting of wines accompanied by snacks.
You will also have free time for lunch, with the option to book at local restaurants known for traditional dishes such as roast lamb.
