The Occidental Cozumel has a wide variety of land and water sports such as diving clinics in the pool, beach volleyball, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and water polo.

It also offers a children's club with garden and small shallow kids pool, daytime and evening entertainment program for the whole family as well as the PADI dive store, 5-star store on the property.

We have 4 swimming pools on the property: activity pool, relaxation pool (adults only), children's pool and whirlpool on the Royal Level.

The island of Cozumel has been recognized since March 2016 within the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves. The island is also the site of part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System. For this reason, due to our location bordering Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park (RAMSAR Site No. 1449), staying committed to caring for natural areas, and running operations in keeping with sustainability principles, is a priority.

• Preserving natural areas by caring for the native flora and fauna, carrying out scheduled activities, and disseminating information among guests and suppliers. Keeping off protected areas, refraining from removing material from the barrier reef, and not fishing within the marine park’s protected natural area.

• Monitoring and managing waste generated by activities derived from hotel operations.
