    “Very good service quality for reasonable price.”

    it was really good accommodation for reasonable price. Room was neat and regularly cleaned. One of shortcomings is that the conditioner was rather noisy, another is that there's only one towel horse for two towels in the bathroom. On the day of arrival at 5 p.m. both restaurants were closed. We could eat in the bar only.

    “Trip to Rome”

    This was a trip of a lifetime! Staying at Barcelo Aran Montegna on our first visit to Rome was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to return. We will definitely come back and stay there on our next visit.

    “I wouldn’t recommend...”

    My husband and I stayed here while on a trip with family. I want to be fair and say that the majority of the staff we encountered were friendly and kind. However, the first day we checked in my sister in law encountered some issues. I watched as she paid in euros the local fee that due for her stay. The next day she got a notification From her credit card company which showed that the hotel had charged the local state taxes to her credit card. My sister in law immediately looked at the receipt she received from the hotel which showed she paid the day before, the issue is that the receipt showed a credit card transaction was made not cash. With that she went downstairs to inquire further not meaning to offend, but clearly this was not correct and the charge made to her credit card should be fraudulent as she already paid the local tax in cash. The staff member she spoke with became hostile and was very upset. I don’t think my sister in law was meaning to offend, but it was pretty apparent something did not go right here. I hate to straight up accuse, but my belief is that the money must have been pocketed. Honestly, we probably would have left the hotel after the incident but we had a large group of family and friends staying at the hotel (for a wedding). In addition the hotel has been under penalty since the end of April (per our travel company-we have this in writing/via email) and the hotel would not refund us for our rooms. I honestly, never write reviews but I wouldn’t not recommend this hotel, nor would I stay here again. I felt very uncomfortable about the situation my sister in law encountered and per other reviews I’ve read, it doesn’t appear this is the first time this has happened to someone at this hotel.

    “Trip to Italy”

    It is a very nice hotel, the food was very good. The room was clean and modern. We stayed for 3 nights during our visit of Italy. The bed and pillows were confortable. I would stay there again even though a few minutes from downtown.

    “Not worth the money”

    The hotel boasts air conditioning, but there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The Rooms get really hot during the nights. If you expect a comfortable sleep, this is not the place. To use the shower, you have to get into the bathtub and getting in and out from the bath tub can be pretty dangerous. there is nothing to hold onto and if you slip, you can even damage your spinal cord by falling.
