    “Wonderful Barcelo!!!”

    Can't say much more than:BEST HOTEL EVER!!! Myself and my wife go every year for our wedding anniversary and are made to feel very special by the staff at the Barcelo. We always say, "Shall we try somewhere different next year love?" but for us The Barcelo Thalasso Spa, Fuerterventura takes some beating. WE LOVE IT!!!

    “Great Family Holiday”

    Everything was perfect apart from a festival right outside for 2 nights which went on till 2am in the morning and had myself and children awake . food was fabulous with great variety . Favourite was profita rolls and the chocolate fountain 😉

    “Second Stay......”

    We have just returned from a week. Overall, still a good hotel in perfect location on the beach and near the town with good restaurants within an easy walk. The room we had was in block 3 on third floor as requested, we had a view of a palm tree.... restrictive but fine. The room was spotlessly clean as usual but any credit about the room is down the the cleaners in my opinion. The rooms are undeniably looking tired, big chips, scuffs and scratches in the wood furniture, drawers not fitting properly and a fridge which got barely cold, stained lamp shades and a chrome standard lamp going rusty The bath which was again spotless was crudely 'patched up' with white square patches covering black chips in the enamel. The floor tiles in the bathrooms cracked and generally the bathroom could do with ripping out and starting again. However, the shower had good pressure and water always hot and again spotless. This time we chose half board but changed our evening meal to lunch so we could use the many local restaurants in the evenings. Breakfast... chaos and not for the faint hearted! I can't deny the choice of food is huge but the layout or something just doesn't work. Two very slow toasters for the whole restaurant causes big queues while those at the beginning wait until their toast is cooked before they move aside. I found myself trying to find either a bowl for cereal which regularly run out or trying to find the jam which wasn't near the bread or the toasters and whilst looking being in the cross fire of people rushing every which way around me, I can't imaging what its like in School holidays! It reminded me of the london underground quite stressful. Added to this getting a table for two was a mission, unless the table has been relaid you're never to sure if its been properly vacated or the occupants have just gone to get something else... which is obviously the same problems for the waiters because if you don't leave a full drink or a personal belonging, it's cleared or taken by another couple. My husband once attempted to sit at one of the many empty tables of four but was told (and not discretely) he couldn't sit there unless he was in a party of four. He politley told the waiter we had been looking but there wasn't any tables for two and suggested to the waiter the tables could be moved apart to make two 'twos'. The waiter made us quite aware this wasn't an option and the experience with everyone watching was quite humiliating. This was the last time we used the buffet restaurant because it really annoyed my husband. We did see the evening entertainment twice, it was really not bad at all for hotel entertainment some talented dancers and good choreography. Pools lovely although quite a lot of tiles in the pool are now missing, I didn't notice this last year. The sunbeds look nice but are really uncomfortable so we ended up spending 10 euros each day to use the beds on the beach so we could have a snooze in the sun. Overall a good hotel, kept very clean, nice polite staff (with one exception) and in a great location, sadly our last time for this hotel. Also, weather was lovely for October and we got really brown.... but word of caution, beware if it looks really cloudy, don't under estimate how much sun factor you still need to put on!

    “Amazing Stay”

    Once again Barcelo Fuerteventura has provided us with an excellent holiday. We have been to this hotel several times and this visit was just as good as the first. The transfer from the airport is very short and you are soon unpacking and enjoying your stay.The hotel is in a great location for bars, restaurants, shops and the beach is just out of the back of the hotel and has a fabulous promenade to walk along as far as the Atlantico shopping centre .All staff are really friendly and very helpful nothing was too much trouble, they work tirelessly to ensure everything is right, Everywhere was spotlessly clean with cleaners and gardeners working round the clock to keep the environment clean and tidy. The food was lovely with a variety of things for everyone at each meal time. The snack bars food was just as good with a self service bar for All Inclusive, this opened from 10am till 6pm for drinks with food available from 11am till 5pm. The pool areas are lovely with plenty of sun loungers with or without shade, pool towels are available, there is a 10 euro deposit per towel which is refundable, and there is a 2 euro charge for changing them which i found very strange as I have never had to pay for a clean towel before and we did see some visitors using the towels from the room. The animation team worked very hard interacting with guests providing quality daytime and evening entertainment. Kenny Delany in the Aloe bar was very enjoyable and easy to listen to. Thank you to all concerned for an amazing holiday, we will be back again in the future and would recommend to anyone

    “Fantastic”

    Staying here at the moment. Staying in a superior room with hot tub. Room very modern.Large bed which is very comfy with a selection of pillows. Hotel facilities excellent with a fantastic spa.Staff very helpful. Will be returning next year as having a wonderful stay.

    Once again Barcelo Fuerteventura has provided us with an excellent holiday. We have been to this hotel several times and this visit was just as good as the first.
