That's why we offer you a double guarantee: at Barcelo.com (and through our Call Centre) you will always find the lowest price, and once you book, you can rest assured that, if you find a cheaper price on another website, or even on Barcelo.com (or via the Call Centre, ) we will always match it.

At Barcelo.com. If, after you have booked, you find a cheaper rate on Barcelo.com (or the Call Centre), at any time and up to 72 hours prior to check in, we will match the rate.

On another website. If you find a cheaper rate on another website other than Barcelo.com, within 24 hours of making your booking and up to 24 hours prior to check-in, we will match the rate and reward you with an additional 10% discount on the price.

Our price match system

Our guarantee goes beyond words, we want to have a refund system set up in the event that our minimum price is not honoured:

1. Price matching to a better rate found outside of Barcelo.com or the Call Centre:

  • Make your booking at the best online price on Barcelo.com or via the Call Centre.
  • Let’s suppose that within 24 hours after making your booking, you find another offer for a lower price for the same dates and product (type of room, accommodation type, occupancy, offer, cancellation rate/policy and extras).
  • We will process your request and send you a reply within a maximum of 48 working hours.
  • If your request meets our requirements, we will match the rate found and apply an additional 10% discount.
  • If your request does not meet the indicated requirements, we will contact you with the best terms associated with Barcelo.com.

2. Price matching to a better rate found on Barcelo.com after making a booking:

  • Make your booking at the best online price on Barcelo.com or via the Call Centre.
  • Let’s suppose that at some point after making your booking, and up to 72 hours prior to check in, you find on Barcelo.com, a lower offer for the same dates and product (type of room, accommodation type, occupancy, offer, rate/policy cancellations and extras).
  • Complete the form attached and send it to us.
  • We will process your request and send you a reply within a maximum of 48 working hours.
  • If your request fulfils our requirements, we will match the rate found.
  • If you do not fulfil the necessary conditions, we will contact you to provide you with the best terms associated with Barcelo.com

Terms and conditions for matching a lower rate found on another website

1. You must have a booking confirmed through Barcelo.com or through our Call Centre.

2. The conditions of the rate found on another website must completely match the conditions of the net rate booked at Barcelo.com:

  • same hotel
  • same room type
  • same duration and dates of stay
  • same terms and conditions of sale, cancellation terms, prepayment terms and conditions, terms and conditions regarding changes in the booking, etc.
  • same number of guests
  • same currency
  • same rate condition

If the cancellation and/or the modification policies are not the same, the most restrictive policy shall prevail.

3. You must send your request within 24 hours of your purchase and at least 24 hours before your arrival at the hotel.

4. The form sent must include a screen shot of the cheaper rate found on another website, with the date and time of said rate included.

5. The customer has a 24-hour time limit for sending the match request.

6. If the cheaper Internet tariff corresponds to a booking of several nights, the guarantee covers the final price of the complete reservation, not the tariffs corresponding to each individual night.

7. The cheaper tariff found shall be net of taxes associated with the city/country in question, or of taxes of other kinds associated with the room tariff.

8. The rate must be available to the public on the Internet and verifiable by Barcelo.com.

9. The total difference found on another website must be more than €5. In the event of a price difference of more than 25%, and unless prohibited by law, Barceló Hotel Group reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer and the terms and conditions at any time and at its sole discretion.

10. In the event that a match is carried out (with or without the additional 10% discount), it shall be applied to the original tariff. Discount codes or special discounts, which may have applied to the original booking, will not be applied to the new final price, including those listed in the my Barceló advantage programme.

11. When a match request is made at the weekend, that is to say, from Friday at 16.00 (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time), the price match may be delayed until Monday (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time).

12. The process of a matching a rate found on another website cannot be used in conjunction with the matching of a cheaper rate found on Barcelo.com up to 72 hours prior to arrival at the hotel.

13. The rates on Barcelo.com and through the Call Centre may vary depending on the country and so the new rate found must be within the same country/market as the original.

14. For bookings made with total or partial prepayment, the full amount paid shall be refunded and the total payment for the new amount shall be requested. If currency exchange fees or bank charges apply to any charges and/or refunds made in a different currency to that of the debit/credit card used, there may be differences between the amount charged and the amount refunded. Barceló Hotel Group shall not be responsible for any differences in this regard.

Terms and conditions for matching a lower rate found on Barcelo.com up to 72 hours prior to arrival

Exclusions to the Best Price Guaranteed double guarantee

We firmly stand by our commitment to offer the best online rate guaranteed. Similarly, we communicate this discipline to the establishment by outlining some rules and limitations in order to guarantee the best online rate. In the following 11 cases, the best guaranteed rate will not be applied and therefore the request for rate matching will not be accepted:

1. Any bookings made through a channel that does not belong to Barcelo.com, or any other non-designated channel, with the exception of the Call Centre.

2. Rates available on opaque hotel booking websites. In other words, sites where the hotel brand, complete name, exact location, category or any other specific details are not known until the booking is made.

3. Rates relating to what are known as promotional packages, where these hotel or travel packages may include hotel offers, flights, car hire, food and beverage or other similar packages or services.

4. Rates that are not publicly guaranteed: negotiated rates, group rates, business rates, etc.

5. For bookings made via private sale clubs or those requiring registration, including loyalty programmes for hotels belonging to the Barceló Hotel Group,

6. Rates which contain errors on their website while checking or making the booking.

7. Rates with prepaid vouchers.

8. Bookings made within 48 hours before arrival at the hotel.

9. Disparities in the rates due to fluctuation, rounding up or differences in currency exchange fees.

10. Barcelo.com rates which already have exclusive group benefits (meetings, events, congresses or conferences), whether they are special services or discounts.

11. The guaranteed best online rate does not apply for Hotels in Cuba.

1. How can I make a rate match request? Please check the terms and conditions of the Best Price Guaranteed Plus to ensure that you meet the criteria and then send your price match request form.

2. How do I know if my form was received? You will receive a confirmation by email or telephone within 48 working hours.

3. How will I know if my request has been approved? You will be notified by email or telephone.

4. How will I know if the room type is the same? If for any reason the characteristics of the room with the best rate found on another website are different to those of the original booking, we will notify you by email or telephone.

5. If I find a lower rate on the actual Barcelo.com website, will my refund request be applied? Yes, as a result of expanding the Best Rate Guaranteed Plus. We will offer a price match providing the request is sent 72 hours prior to check-in and the terms and conditions of the Best Price Guaranteed are met.
