Updated 21 December 2020
The health and well-being of our guests and employees is a priority for Barceló Hotel Group. For this reason, we are closely complying with World Health Organization guidelines and relevant authorities on the evolution of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic around the world.
Given the exceptional circumstances, we would like to apologise for any inconvenience this health crisis may cause you or your loved ones and to inform you of the measures that we have adopted with regard to changing or cancelling a booking in order to offer our guests complete flexibility during these difficult times.
If your booking has been affected by COVID-19, and subject to prior justification, the Barceló Hotel Group has made changes fully flexible, offering 100% flexibility to postpone your booking up to 24 hours before your arrival for individual bookings with check-in dates up until 31 August 2021. You will have the option to change the date of your booking so that, when this has all passed, you can enjoy your stay within 12 months from check-in date and, of course, still benefit from the best price guaranteed.
For any changes or to manage your booking, please contact our Call Centre by calling the customer service number in your country. We are currently receiving an unprecedented number of requests and we are trying to process them as quickly as possible. If you have requested a refund for your booking and we have not yet replied, please understand that our team is handling an exceptionally high volume of requests. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.
If you have made your booking through an online agency or other travel agent, we recommend you contact the booking provider for information on their change policy.
We have launched a new concept called We Care About You. This project includes all the measures applied to establish a safe working environment for our employees and suppliers, while offering an experience that meets the current needs of our guests without forgetting our main objective: to make everyone feel safe and ensure that our guests enjoy their experience. The use of masks is determined by the health authorities at all times. Currently, the general recommendations in Spain establish that the use of masks is compulsory for people over the age of 6, in outdoor areas and in public use areas.
It is also mandatory to use a mask on public, air, sea and rail transport, as well as in a private vehicle, if occupants are not of the same household.
The following general exceptions are established: people with disabilities or respiratory diseases, as well as practicing sports or consuming food and beverages.
These measures and exceptions may vary depending on the region. We recommend that you check the situation in each region before your trip and always carry a mask with you so that you can use it if necessary during your stay.
Thank you for your trust in the Barceló Hotel Group. Our company has almost 90 years of experience and a guarantee of professionalism and reliability that allows us to reassure our customers at times like these. We are convinced that this will pass and we are doing all we can to be able to welcome you to our hotels once again when the situation is back to normal.
