One of the most rewarding ways to understand a region is through its gastronomy. On this excursion, you will discover the flavours and traditions of Tenerife while visiting some of its most representative locations.
The day begins in La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose historic centre concentrates remarkable architectural heritage within an area that is easy to explore on foot. Walking through its streets offers insight into the island’s cultural and historical importance.
From there, the route continues to El Sauzal, where you will visit the Casa del Vino. During the visit, you will learn about the history of wine production in Tenerife, its development over time and the current significance of the island’s wine sector, accompanied by a tasting of local wines and Canarian appetisers.
The experience concludes with lunch at Bodegas Monje, located in the Acentejo region in the northeast of the island, where you can enjoy local cuisine in a setting closely linked to Tenerife’s winemaking tradition.
A thoughtfully designed itinerary that allows you to experience Tenerife through its gastronomic and cultural identity.
