Description
The southwest coast of Tenerife is one of the best places in Europe to observe whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. This boat excursion offers the opportunity to explore this unique marine environment while sailing along one of the island’s most impressive coastlines.
Aboard the Sea Passion, a comfortable boat with a maximum capacity of 11 passengers, you will enjoy a relaxed and intimate experience away from large crowds. The vessel features a cabin, lounge, bathroom, kitchen and a spacious outdoor sun deck where you can relax during the trip.
The excursion departs from the traditional fishing harbour of Playa San Juan and heads out to deeper waters, where several species of cetaceans live all year round. The captain, who has extensive knowledge of the area, will share information about the marine life and the surrounding environment during the search for whales and dolphins.
After the whale watching experience, the route continues along the coastline to admire the volcanic formations that characterise this part of Tenerife. The trip includes a stop in a peaceful cove where you can swim, relax or enjoy snorkelling in crystal-clear waters.
During the stop, a snack made with fresh local products is served on board along with drinks before returning to the harbour.
