Discover the night sky from one of the world’s leading locations for astronomical observation: Teide National Park. At 2,536 metres above sea level, near the cable car base station, the setting provides excellent conditions for viewing stars, planets and other celestial bodies with exceptional clarity.
The experience is led by accredited Starlight guides, who explain in an accessible way how to navigate the night sky and interpret what can be seen through high-powered professional telescopes. During the session, constellations are identified alongside objects visible to the naked eye and more distant celestial features that require specialised equipment.
The altitude and low levels of light pollution make this area particularly suitable for stargazing. The combination of location, technical equipment and expert guidance ensures a well-structured astronomical experience, suitable both for beginners and for those with a deeper interest in the subject.
