Barceló offers panoramic helicopter flights to discover Tenerife from the air and take in its coastline, ravines and Teide National Park from a privileged perspective. Flying provides a bird’s-eye view of fishing villages, volcanic lava flows, dramatic cliffs and colour contrasts that are impossible to fully appreciate from the ground.
Flights operate in a Jet Ranger Augusta Bell 206 helicopter with capacity for four passengers plus pilot. Each route combines coastal scenery, volcanic terrain and some of the island’s most representative natural landmarks.
SOUTH COAST – 20 km (7-8 minutes)
Departure over the Atlantic coastline, flying above Puertito, known for turtle sightings, the fishing village of La Caleta, Golf Costa Adeje and the hotel areas of Playa de las Américas and Los Cristianos. An ideal option for a first aerial experience over the south coast and its nearby ravines.
BEACHES AND RAVINES – 30 km (10-12 minutes)
Includes La Caleta and Golf Costa Adeje before heading towards Montaña de Guaza and its volcanic lava flows reaching the sea. The flight allows for views of Roque del Conde, Ifonche and its ravines, as well as Barranco del Infierno, the only ravine in Adeje with a natural stream. A route that combines coastline and inland landscapes.
LOS GIGANTES CLIFFS – 50 km (18-20 minutes)
Flight towards Playa San Juan, Alcalá and Puerto de Santiago before reaching the towering cliffs of Los Gigantes, rising up to 600 metres above sea level. The route continues towards the Corona Forestal of Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering views of Mount Teide at 3,718 metres, the highest peak in Spain.
ISLA BAJA – 85 km (25-30 minutes)
One of the most complete routes due to the contrast between the arid south and the lush north. Includes La Caleta, Alcalá, Puerto de los Gigantes and its dramatic cliffs, Buenavista del Norte, Garachico, Los Silos and Icod de los Vinos. From the air, the extensive lava flows and varied landscape textures become clearly visible.
LUXURY GRAND TEIDE – 120 km (40-45 minutes)
A full circuit around Teide National Park, the most visited national park in Europe. The route allows you to fly around the volcano, photograph the Orotava Valley, Puerto de la Cruz, the alpine area of Vilaflor and the historic lava flows of Santiago del Teide. It is the longest and most panoramic option available.
Each flight provides a wide and detailed view of the volcanic terrain, coastline and villages that define the character of Tenerife.
