Teide National Park is one of the most impressive volcanic landscapes in the world and the second most visited after Mount Fuji in Japan. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and recognised as one of Spain’s 12 treasures, it attracts thousands of visitors each year who come to experience its unique geological character.
During this excursion, you will explore some of its most representative areas, including Llano de Ucanca, Alto de Guajara, Las Siete Cañadas, Roques de García, La Fortaleza and Pico Viejo. The route rises above 2,000 metres in altitude, offering wide panoramic views and, at times, scenery that stretches above the cloud line.
Along the way, you will observe striking volcanic formations, solidified lava fields and natural rock walls shaped by centuries of geological activity. The scale and openness of the landscape create a setting that feels both monumental and serene.
This visit focuses on experiencing the natural environment and understanding the volcanic identity of Tenerife, as well as the significance of Mount Teide within the Canary Islands.
