The day begins with a ferry crossing to La Gomera, the island where Christopher Columbus made his final stop before setting sail towards the New World. Arrival is in San Sebastián, the island’s capital and starting point of the route.
From there, the tour ascends into the interior of the island, passing through laurel forest before entering Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The itinerary includes locations such as the Roque de Agando, La Laguna Grande and the Vallehermoso viewpoint, offering a broad perspective of La Gomera’s landscape.
A stop in Las Rosas allows time for lunch and a demonstration of the Silbo Gomero, the island’s traditional whistled language. On the return to San Sebastián, you will discover historical landmarks including the Church of the Assumption, the Chapel of San Sebastián and the Tower of the Count.
An excursion designed to experience La Gomera through its natural scenery, cultural heritage and living traditions, with several stops along the way.
