Discover the landscapes of southern Tenerife on horseback with a scenic ride through volcanic terrain and native vegetation. The experience begins at the Xanadú Equestrian Centre, located in a natural setting in the south of the island.
From the stables, the route follows quiet trails around the centre, where you can observe the island’s characteristic volcanic scenery. Along the way you may see native plants such as cardón cacti, tabaiba shrubs and other typical Canary Islands species, as well as geological formations shaped by ancient lava flows.
The activity is available in two options. The 1-hour ride offers a relaxed route through volcanic paths and natural surroundings. The 2-hour ride continues towards the coast, where, if sea conditions allow, riders may approach the shoreline and enter the water with the horse.
A peaceful way to experience Tenerife’s natural landscape while enjoying a different perspective of the island on horseback.
