Trip to Manzanillo and Shopping Tour:
Manzanillo, Mexico’s main port on the Pacific Ocean, is full of hustle and bustle, adventure and traditional places. A stop at Las Hadas lookout on the Santiago Peninsula to take photos of the best panoramic views of the bays of Manzanillo and Santiago. A visit to the historic center with time to go shopping. Tropical trip to Barra de Navidad:
Explore the villages and lush vegetation to the north of Manzanillo; learn about banana, mango and coconut trees, etc. A shopping trip in historic Melaque, and from there we will travel on to the picturesque town of Barra de Navidad where we will visit the famous church of “Cristo de los Brazos Caídos”. Motor boat trip in San Franciso lake, followed by a delicious seafood lunch in a traditional restaurant. Includes: A/A transportation, guide, lunch, 1 beer or soda in the restaurant, motor boat trip.
An interesting trip during which we will visit the State Capital with its different and varied sites of interest. Civil and religious constructions, such as the Ave María Cathedral, El Palacio de Gobierno (Town Hall), its museums and archeological sites, make this city an unforgettable experience for those who want to discover and enjoy Western Mexico. Lunch in Suchitlan and visit to Comala, a picturesque town where the writer Juan Rulfo was inspired to write his best literary works – Llano en Llamas (The Burning Plain) and Pedro Páramo – set against the majestic backdrop of the active Fuego volcano with fumaroles. Cuyutlán (Ecological Paradise):
The ecological adventure starts in your hotel when you board the Pancho Bananas, Manzanillo’s most original mode of transportation. After traveling for 30 minutes between the sea and the palm trees, we arrive in Cuyutlán, a legendary place where you can admire the famous Ola Verde (Green Wave). Visit the Salt Museum and Colima University and from there we will head to the Cuyutlán turtle sanctuary for an unforgettable and educational journey through its facilities, learning and discovering everything about crocodiles, iguanas and the different species of turtle that lay their eggs on our coasts and, with a little bit of luck, you will be able to release a newborn into the sea. We will then board canoe, and glide across the waters on a journey through the mangroves discovering local and migratory birdlife, crocodiles, iguanas, and an infinite variety of interesting secrets of the estuary. During the trip – which takes 25 minutes – the guide will provide a commentary of everything you see around you. Lunch in Cuyutlán and return to the hotel.
