A walk through Colima - Comala

Civil and religious constructions, such as the Ave María Cathedral, El Palacio de Gobierno (Town Hall), its museums and archaeological sites, make this city an unforgettable experience for those who want to discover and enjoy Western Mexico. Lunch in Suchitlan and visit to Comala, a picturesque town where the writer Juan Rulfo was inspired to write his best literary works – Llano en Llamas (The Burning Plain) and Pedro Páramo – set against the majestic backdrop of the Fuego volcano with active fumaroles. Cuyutlán (ecological paradise)
The ecological adventure starts at your hotel when you climb abroad the Pancho Bananas, the most original means of transport in Manzanillo. After travelling for 30 minutes between the sea and the palm trees, we arrive in Cuyutlán, a legendary place where you can admire the famous Ola Verde (Green Wave). Visit to the Salt Museum and Colima University and from there we will head to the Cuyutlán turtle sanctuary for an unforgettable and educational journey through its facilities, learning and discovering everything about crocodiles, iguanas and the different species of turtle on our coasts. Then you will go on a journey through the mangroves discovering local and migratory birdlife, crocodiles, iguanas, and an infinite variety of interesting secrets of the estuary.

San Gabriel Grottos
Approximately 40 years ago, a group of young people who were hunting animals in the suddenly discovered a cavity in the earth, which descended for several metres before reaching the ground. Know the history that gave life to the San Gabriel Grottos.
Barra de Navidad
It is a beautiful fishing town full of local traditions and customs, it stands on a sank bank, which divides de Navidad lagoon with the Pacific Ocean. In Barra de Navidad you can find excellent restaurants and boutiques, as well as varied and large scale sporting activities.
Peña Blanca (quad bike adventure)
If you love adventure, accompany us on this exciting activity on board powerful, easy to manage TRX 250 Honda semi-automatic quad bikes. Our guide will lead you through the winding gaps in Vaca mountain to the beach at Peña Blanca, on the way you can admire the spectacular views from the top of the mountain, and explore the secrets of the lush vegetation of the cayaco forest. Time to accelerate along our natural track parallel to the beach. Time to stop to rest and cool down.
