    “Wonderful PLACE! Would return!”

    The beach was beautiful! The rooms are in huts. The Chef, Gilberto Navarro Velazquez made sure the food was very very good for the star rating of this property. You won't be disappointed. I recommended and I will return.

    “Unacceptable New Dock Fee for offsite Dive Operators”

    As a person who has stayed at this resort at least 20 times, knowing what you can expect and what you can't expect, I was shocked and dismayed that Allegro is allowing the onsite dive operator ProDive to charge a "maintenance fee" for dock usage by anyone using offsite operators. I choose not to use ProDive since they use cattle boats for their operations, have dictated to dive sites and divemasters that are not local divers who rotate out on a regular basis as immigration catches up to them. They have hired a security guard who initially asked us for $5 per trip to the dock per person. When I declined to pay the guard stated that the fee (which was supposed to be $3 pp per trip according to ProDive) would be passed onto our dive operator (who will subsequently charge us...) and we would not be able to use the dock unless paid. Funny....since I am a time share owner here for over 20 years and pay maintenance fees on the property yearly.... Apparently when Allegro brought ProDive on displacing the previous operator Dive Palancar (who is a lot better in my opinion) they also rented the dock to them... Since they are losing business due to a poor service (in my opinion) they have to try and get back market share and make up costs by charging this "fee" to maintain the dock which has not been touched since Hurricane Wilma hit the island. I would encourage you to take this into account prior to booking. The Allegro is much the same as it has always been... Nice sized resort, good people, decent but not amazing food. All in all a good place to come back to...if they get their act together with the local dive operation....maybe it is time for a different dive operator!!!!!!!

    “1 day pass- Carnival Dream”

    My family vacationed on a cruise last week and we each bought a day pass to this resort. The resort was stunning. Very well maintained and well worth the money. (Drinks and Lunch are included). A couple of my family members and I also went parasailing and it was an amazing experience.

    “Highly recommend!”

    Great stay! Staff was smiling and friendly. Great food with lots to choose from. Variety of daily activities. Wonderful scuba diving! We made a lot of new friends and many memories. Will be staying here again! Highly recommend!

    “Fantastic 25th Celebration!”

    This was our first time visiting Cozumel and the Allegro Cozumel resort! We were extremely impressed with a number of things. We are RCI members and usually get hounded with offers to sign into a new vacation plan. The Allegro Cozumel didn’t do that AT ALL! We were part of the First Club and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the resort. We decided on this spot to celebrate our 25th as it was an affordable option for our family. Elvis did a fantastic job of organizing the ceremony and was even able to offer an alternative quickly when a rainstorm hit. The flowers for the ceremony were absolutely stunning. The beach was beautiful, the pools were great and the service was outstanding. Carlos at the dinner buffet made us incredible Mexican, Irish and Brazilian coffees. Marco the activities coordinator did a great job organizing the daily volleyball and made sure that it was a consistent activity. The staff went above and beyond when things didn’t quite work out and compensated us in fantastic ways. The Asian a la carte was incredible and highly recommended. The only thing that would be nice to see is a few more options for the lunch buffet as it seemed to be the same for the whole week with few options, and more of a Mexican feel for all of the theatre performances.
