Occidental Caribe has magnificent gardens with an infinite number of tropical plants and flowers spread throughout the resort. 

It also offers a whole range of outdoor spaces for entertainment, as well as areas that are perfect for relaxing, either by the pool or on the beach. 

The resort has 2 large, lagoon-type pools as well as a paddling pool for kids, all on the seafront with fantastic sea views. Everything is located in an unrivalled spot just a few metres from the soft, white sand of Bávaro Beach. Swimming hours: 8.00 to 19.00

The Occidental Caribe has 1 tennis court with court lighting available (subject to charge), open from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 15:00 to 17:30.

Sports enthusiasts can take part in countless activities, from aerobics, pool and beach volleyball, basketball, water polo, and kayak excursions, to table tennis and even trapezing. There is also a climbing wall for ages 13 years and over (open only from 15:00 to 17:00).

Seafarers and water activities lovers can take sailing and diving lessons (subject to charge). There are beginner's classes for first-timers in both activities (also subject to charge). 

There are several golf courses within just a few minutes’ drive from the resort. El Punta Blanca and White Sands are just 5 and 10 minutes away respectively, El Cocotal and Punta Cana Golf are 20 and 30 minutes away. The magnificent 18-hole golf course, The Lakes, designed by P.B. Dye, also forms part of the Bávaro Beach Resort.
