    “Small peace of heaven”

We stayed for 7 days and loved every minute of our stay. It starts with a warm welcome. This feeling stays throughout your stay. Everything is as it should be. From the suite to staff to the surroundings. We had a lovely light and airy suite with a small balcony. The swimming pool is an excellent place to relax. You are offered an extra pillow, a glass of cold water on arrival. Everything to make you feel at home. It is a great location to visit Malaga and Granada. You need to have a car at your dispossal. Both restaurant are very good. The waiters are very friendly. Same for the reception staff always there to advice you with a smile. We loved it so much that we decided to come back during our same holiday for some extra nights. One final compliment the house perfum which is used to scent the room is fantastic.

    “Great Find”

We decided to stay at this hotel as it was about an hours drive from Granada and about 1.5 hours from Cordoba which we visited during our 5 night stay. The hotel is about an hour from Malaga airport but in the middle of nowhere with a 3km drive which means that at night you are probably best staying put and enjoying the 2 resort restaurants, which we found were very good. Our suite was large and very quiet with a spacious bathroom (separate bath and shower) although it is getting a bit dated and in need of some attention (there was a problem filling the bath and a chip out of one of the basins) and a roof top terrace . However the bed was comfortable and the facilities very good. The pool area was large , well laid out and extremely relaxing except for one problem......WASPS! They were everywhere and when we spoke to management they said it was because the hotel is in the middle of an agricultural area and the insects are attracted to food ...and people. Apparently they are only a problem at this time of the year (late autumn) but it did somewhat spoil our stay. Service at breakfast was good as was the choice of food (cheese/meat /fruit etc etc) and again the only downside was that despite the lovely weather we couldn't eat outside , because of the WASPS!!!! Unfortunately whilst we were there, my wife had a nasty fall. This required a visit to the local hospital and the duty manager insisted on coming and spent several hours with us which was just as well as nobody at the hospital spoke English. She was delightful and we were very grateful to her. The following day my wife needed to return to the hospital and the arrangements were made by her so that we were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Overall, we thought the resort was excellent and reasonably priced. If you want to get away from it all and yet have the opportunity to explore Granada and/or Cordoba this is a great option. However it is absolutely essential to have a car.

    “Gorgeous hotel - great staff”

Stayed at this hotel for two nights with our small child. Hotel is set in a gorgeous country setting. Really peaceful and beautiful. Building fits in perfectly and is well maintained. We had dinner at the la finca restaurant which was very nice. Starters and dessert were delicious, with mains needing a little improvement. They also gave us a great local wine recommendation. We loved the turtle pool and the little playground. We ended up checking out a day early but that was primarily because the pool heater was broken. The staff however handled our concerns excellently and what could have made a bad impression on us, only showed us how well run the hotel is. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent. The only reason we have given four stars instead of five is due to the wasps at the pool. I had read other reviews about the wasps but I really underestimated how bad they are and with a little child in tow, we had several crying episodes as they are everywhere down by the pool!! It made us really uncomfortable. There must be some hives somewhere as I’ve never seen anything like it. If the hotel could tackle this problem, they would absolutely get our five stars. And we intend to return, as it is really lovely. Well done to the staff!

    “Quick stop over”

We stayed at this hotel on a whim, booked at 4.00pm arrived at 6. This is an incredible place, their driveway to it is 3km long! Situated less than one hour from Malaga up in the hills near loja The hotel is incredible, very exclusive but not to snobby. Everything was immaculate and well executed. We had a large room, with a massive bed sitting room, private balcony, dinning table and loungers. All for £240 on a Monday night. Style is traditional Spanish with some modern twists here and there. The whole place is like a small Spanish town but manicured. There is horse riding, three pools three restaurants. Bicycles etc etc. You really could spend a few days here and never leave the grounds. There are two dinning rooms we went in the casual one. The food was ok not great but nothing bad either just a little bit below par in my opinion. Just lacked a little bit of flair and authenticity. Overall it’s incredibly relaxing and worth a visit. I think they have quite a few celebs staying there at one time or another I can understand why it’s very private. Great place well worth the visit and if you time it right quite good value too.

    “Hidden paradise”

We were there with a group of cyclists on a Spain tour. The staff is very nice, the rooms are very clean. The grounds super nice with a amazing pool. Breakfast is exceptional. Dinners are average but probably above average for spain.
