    “Extraordinary”

We stayed here for 2 nights at the conclusion of our Backroads biking trip. It was ideal. There are 3 pools, a spa, a fitness facility and a great dining room. It was just what we needed to conclude 6 days of strenuous biking.

    “Peace and quiet!”

We stayed for a 5 night post cruise holiday. We had a suite with a roof terrace. We totally chilled out. We used room service for our lazy lunch on our terrace. Loads of space. Total privacy. will be back

One of the best hotels we have visited , hidden away at the end of a private 3km road is this true Royal Hideaway.Stunning settings and fantastic service, going back in August for a few days. Exceptional food and service in the La Finca. Thanks to all the staff and see you in August .......

“Great hotel, total focus on the client”

The hotel is located in a charming building surrounded by a Nice garden. It’s a Nice place but above all, ALL personnel is extremely friendly, helpful and polite. This is Unique for a larger hotel like this one. The personnel is clearly expected to walk the extra mile and you See that in the details; 2x cleaning the room a day, you can chose your type of pillow (pillow ‘menu card’), you get a welcome drink when arriving, get a drink for on the road when leaving, and even your car windows are cleaned during night...). The details do make the diffference here!!! Also in overall atmosphere; Nice decoraties, candles burning outside in the evening,... for food we tried 2 of the restaurants. El cortijo was expensive and we were not impressed by the quality. When charging moreover 6 eur for (bad quality) Bread we did not even ask for, we left somewhat unhappy there. La Finca is more expensive but offers great food. Rather pay more for quality! We also used the Spa and took a 2 hours massage. The later was expensive and I must say not overwhelming either. All in all a very Nice place to stay With great personnel and plenty of activities within the hotel.

    “Beautiful hotel in countryside”

LOCATION: This lovely 5 star hotel is 1 hour from Granada and Malaga, and 2 hours from Seville. It's a great alternative to staying in Granada, Malaga, or other nearby cities. ROOMS: Since it was off-season, we got an incredible suite (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a giant living room with fireplace and 20-30 ft high cupola, dining room and deck) for much less than our 2 rooms at a 5 star in Sevilla. My daughter's bathroom was bigger than our bedroom in NYC. Our bathroom had a huge tub with jets surrounded by glass enclosure - all 4 of us (2 adults, 1 tween and 1 teen) fit in it. SERVICE: The service was great, the food was excellent, and we would definitely go back. The views from our windows and porch of the countryside and hills were pretty. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to check the schedule of the processions in Malaga (we were in Spain during Easter week/Semana Santa) and print out the procession map and schedule for us. One night my 11 year old was cold and she apparently called the front desk at something like 2 am and they brought her an additional blanket. (We had some in the room but there were a lot of closets and she didn't see them). SUMMER/ WINTER and WEATHER: In better weather (it's cold here in March), there are pools, outdoor ping pong, and tennis. They also have ATVs onsite and access to horseback riding. Note that it was about 15 degrees warmer in Malaga and Seville than in the country -- in the summer, it's probably much more pleasant here than in the south, but in the winter the weather is better in Malaga and Seville. Granada, like the countryside, is cold -- the elevation must be higher. We are glad we stayed here, though, since it is central to these other locations and the setting and our suite were special. INDOOR POOL/ HOT POOL AND SAUNAS: We also loved the indoor pool, saunas and hottub (with a number of different types of jets). Children were not allowed but the adults enjoyed it!

Dear guest, We always find it nice to read that our guests went home with great holiday memories and we are very grateful for the time and effort you spent to share your detailed personal experience at our La Bobadilla a Royal Hideaway Hotel with us, and Tripadvisor readers. We would like to explain, about our spa opening time, that children are allowed with parents , from 13:00 h. to 14:00 h. every day, as our goal is to preserve the relax and silence during the rest of the adults opening time. Thank you for pointing out our location, rooms and gastronomy. We are glad also to read that we have managed to exceed your expectations in regards to hospitality and service delivered and will not fail to pass your comments to the team. Again we thank you for this wonderful review, it has been a pleasure for us to read and we look forward to serving you again soon. Best regards, Manuel Quintana General Manager La Bobadilla, a Royal Hideaway Hotel.
