In the bay of Taghazout, the Argan Museum offers a complete insight into one of the most representative elements of southwest Morocco. Entirely dedicated to this emblematic tree, the space highlights its role in local culture and its importance in everyday life.
The experience begins with hotel pick-up and transfer to the museum. Upon arrival, a guide introduces the origin and significance of the argan tree, closely linked to the Agadir Souss Massa region. Throughout the visit, different exhibition areas explain both traditional uses and modern applications of argan oil.
During the tour, you will observe the production process, from harvesting the fruit to extracting the oil, a practice passed down through generations. This part of the visit provides a clear understanding of the craftsmanship behind each product.
The experience includes a tasting of specialities made with argan oil, accompanied by local drinks, in a setting inspired by Berber traditions.
As you leave, the scent of argan and the texture of its products remain as a subtle memory that extends beyond the visit.
