Description
The Atlantic coast of Morocco is home to distinctive destinations, and Essaouira stands out as one of its most characterful towns. This excursion from Agadir offers the chance to explore its history, relaxed atmosphere and close connection to the ocean.
The journey begins early with a scenic drive along the Atlantic, including stops at places such as Tamri beach. Along the way, you may witness one of the region’s most unusual sights: goats climbing argan trees.
Before reaching the city, there is a visit to a traditional argan oil cooperative, where the production process is explained. Once in Essaouira, you will have time to explore its medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as its historic ramparts and old citadel.
The route continues through souks, artisan workshops and streets open to the sea. There is also free time to wander at your own pace or enjoy local cuisine, particularly fresh fish.
The day ends with the return to Agadir after a full experience on the coast. Between the Atlantic breeze, the sound of the waves and the city’s relaxed rhythm, Essaouira leaves a lasting impression.
