Description
Crossing the Strait of Gibraltar and reaching another continent in just over an hour offers a unique travel perspective. This excursion introduces you to Morocco in an organised way, combining transport, cultural discovery and expert guidance throughout the day.
The experience begins with pick-up in Málaga or various points along the Costa del Sol, followed by a road transfer to Algeciras. From there, you will board a fast ferry to Ceuta, enjoying the crossing over the Strait.
Once in North Africa, the journey continues by coach through Ceuta and its main areas before crossing the border into Morocco. A scenic drive then leads to Tetuán, where the guided visit begins with a local expert.
Over several hours, you will explore key locations such as Moulay El Mehdi Square, the Mellah district and Hassan II Square, home to notable buildings including the Royal Palace. The route continues through the medina of Tetuán, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its whitewashed streets and preserved traditional character.
The experience includes a lunch break at a local restaurant, where you will taste typical Moroccan dishes such as couscous, accompanied by mint tea and traditional sweets. Afterwards, you will have time to walk through the commercial area, discover local crafts and learn about products such as argan oil before returning to Ceuta for the ferry back to Algeciras.
