Description
Less than an hour from Valencia, the Utiel-Requena region is one of the most important wine-producing areas in the area. This half-day trip offers an introduction through visits to two wineries.
The experience begins at the historic Murviedro winery, located in the old town of Requena. During the visit, you will explore its underground caves, traditionally used for wine storage, and take part in a tasting of three wines with an aperitif.
The tour continues at Vera de Estenas winery in Utiel, where you will walk through the vineyards and learn about the production process. The visit ends with a wine tasting, paired with local products such as cheese and cured meats.
Throughout the experience, your guide explains key aspects of the denomination of origin, grape varieties such as Bobal, and the characteristics of local winemaking.
