Description
The Utiel-Requena region is known for its wine production and artisanal food traditions. This experience from Valencia offers insight into both through visits to a cheese factory and a winery.
The first part takes place in Los Pedrones, where you will visit a family-run cheese factory specialising in goat cheese. During the activity, you will take part in a cheese-making workshop and learn about the production process.
The visit includes access to the ageing caves, where the cheeses develop their characteristics, followed by a guided tasting of eight varieties with drinks.
The experience continues at Vera de Estenas winery, located among vineyards. There, you will explore the facilities and learn about local winemaking methods linked to the denomination of origin.
