Discover the historical and natural richness of Gran Canaria on an experience that will take you through the island’s most emblematic sites.
We will visit the largest botanical garden in Spain, the Jardín Canario, a key reference in the conservation of local endemic flora. Covering more than 27 hectares, it hosts a magnificent collection of native plants from the Canary Islands and the wider Macaronesian region. Enjoy a pleasant walk as you take in beautiful landscapes filled with both native and endemic species.
Next, we visit the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: the historic district of Vegueta. Here, history is felt in every street. This quarter of colonial houses preserves some of the most important monuments in the Canary Archipelago. In its plazas, you’ll find historic buildings such as the Casa de Colón, Santa Ana Cathedral, the Canarian Museum, and many more. Just a short walk away lies Triana’s Main Street, one of the most charming streets in the city, home to major shops and well-known retail brands.
We then stop at Santa Catalina Park, one of the main meeting points of the city thanks to its proximity to Las Canteras Beach and the cruise terminal—making it one of the most popular tourist areas in Las Palmas.
Between the municipalities of Ingenio and Agüimes lies one of the largest ravines in the archipelago, the Guayadeque Ravine. It stands out for its pre-Hispanic archaeological remains, its unique endemic flora and fauna, and its remarkable number of cave houses, including a chapel carved directly into the rock.
The historic center of the town of Agüimes is an enchanting and captivating setting. Life in Agüimes is an art form—every corner of its old quarter appears sculpted by hand, creating a space where tradition and history blend seamlessly. Its streets, alleys, squares, and passageways form a beautifully preserved ensemble. In San Antón Square, visitors can admire traditional buildings, including former farmers’ homes and bourgeois residences, some of which now house artisan workshops.
