The waters off southern Gran Canaria are known for their rich marine biodiversity, making them a favourable setting for observing cetaceans throughout the year.
Aboard the hybrid vessel “Senda del Azul”, this experience focuses on responsible navigation, using reduced noise and emissions to limit disturbance to marine life.
With a maximum of 10 participants, the trip maintains a small-group setting that allows for a more relaxed and attentive observation. During the journey, the crew shares insights about the species that may be encountered, including bottlenose dolphins, Atlantic spotted dolphins and pilot whales.
The electric propulsion system enables quieter movement across the water, helping create more suitable conditions for observing animals in their natural behaviour. The activity lasts approximately three hours and takes place in open waters, within an area recognised for its marine diversity.
Part of the proceeds supports the WeWhale Association, contributing to the protection of cetaceans and the promotion of more sustainable practices.
A thoughtful way to experience marine wildlife while supporting conservation efforts.
