As the day draws to a close along the southern coast of Gran Canaria, the ocean takes on a calmer character, offering a different setting to experience marine life.
Departing from Maspalomas, this sunset trip takes place aboard a hybrid vessel designed to reduce noise and environmental impact. Its electric propulsion system allows for quieter navigation, creating more favourable conditions for observing wildlife.
Throughout the journey, a marine biologist shares insights into local cetaceans and the surrounding ecosystems, adding a scientific perspective to the experience. While dolphin sightings are possible, they are less frequent in the evening, placing the focus on mindful observation and the changing atmosphere of the sea.
With a maximum of 10 participants, the setting on board remains relaxed, allowing you to enjoy the surroundings at an unhurried pace. Depending on sea conditions, there may also be an opportunity to swim in open water.
Drinks and light snacks are provided by local partners, in line with a sustainability-focused approach. The activity also contributes to marine conservation through data collection, removal of floating debris and collaboration with local authorities.
A different way to connect with the ocean at sunset, centred on observation, calm and respect for the natural environment.
