Discover the south of Gran Canaria on a guided tour of approximately 7 hours, exploring protected natural areas and historic coastal towns. A carefully designed itinerary offering a comprehensive insight into this part of the island in a small-group setting.
The tour includes a visit to the Guayadeque Valley, declared a Natural Monument. This ravine, whose name means “place where water flows”, preserves pre-Hispanic archaeological remains, endemic species and a remarkable complex of cave houses carved into the rock. During the stop, your guide will explain its origins and main environmental features, helping you gain a deeper understanding of this unique settlement excavated into the rock face of the ravine.
The day continues to Puerto de Mogán, a former fishing enclave now transformed into one of the most renowned tourist areas in the south of the island, where pedestrian streets and small canals invite you to stroll at leisure. Here you will have approximately one hour of free time for lunch (not included), a swim, or to explore the surroundings at your own pace.
Finally, you will visit another of the island’s highlights: the Maspalomas Dunes Special Nature Reserve, an impressive 400-hectare protected area combining beach, shifting dunes, palm grove and brackish lagoon, an important stopover site for migratory birds. The visit includes the surroundings of the Maspalomas Lighthouse and La Charca before enjoying some free time in the area.
A perfect option to discover the south of the island, combining natural heritage and coastal landscapes in the company of an official guide.
