Description
Located near Manacor, the Hams Caves are among Mallorca’s best-known underground attractions, admired for their geological formations and immersive visual displays. This visit takes you through a network of chambers, lakes and natural rock formations shaped over millions of years.
The experience begins at the Round Cave, an open-air area featuring Mediterranean vegetation, native birds and a distinctive microclimate. The route then continues into the Blue Cave, where LED lighting and an audiovisual presentation reveal the geological origins of Mallorca and the history behind the caves.
One of the highlights takes place inside the underground auditorium with the GENESIS show, a visual and musical performance inspired by the evolution of the universe from the Big Bang to the present day. The visit also includes the Classic Cave, home to twelve galleries and the underground lake known as the Sea of Venice, where a musical performance takes place on the water.
The tour also features a stop at a traditional Majorcan pearl factory, recognised for producing artificial pearls using artisan techniques for more than a century.
Lights reflected across the underground lake, the sound of music echoing through the caverns and the changing textures of the rock create a striking atmosphere throughout the visit.
