Discover two of Lanzarote’s most distinctive areas on a guided half-day excursion that combines dramatic volcanic scenery with centuries-old winemaking traditions.
The tour begins at the Timanfaya National Park, where you will follow the renowned Volcano Route by coach for approximately 40 minutes. Along the way, you will see craters, lava fields and formations shaped by the historic eruptions that defined the island’s landscape.
At the Islote de Hilario, geothermal demonstrations reveal the heat that still lies beneath the surface. You will also have free time, with the optional opportunity to take a camel ride across the volcanic surroundings (not included).
The excursion continues to La Geria, Lanzarote’s main wine-producing region, recognised for its vineyards planted in ash-filled hollows protected by semicircular stone walls — a cultivation method uniquely adapted to the island’s conditions.
A route that connects geology and tradition, offering insight into the character of Lanzarote.
