Visit some of Lanzarote’s most distinctive natural sites on an approximately 8-hour excursion designed to explain the island’s volcanic origins and geological evolution.
The day begins at the Timanfaya National Park, where you will follow the well-known Volcano Route. Along the way, you will see craters, lava fields and formations created by the 18th-century eruptions. At the Islote de Hilario, geothermal demonstrations highlight the heat that still lies beneath the surface.
The tour continues to the Cueva de los Verdes, part of a volcanic system formed around 21,000 years ago during the Quaternary period. This underground tube stretches for approximately seven kilometres to the coast and represents one of the island’s most remarkable examples of volcanic activity.
The route concludes at Jameos del Agua, another section of the same volcanic tunnel, later transformed by César Manrique into a space where art and nature coexist in balance.
An opportunity to discover three essential volcanic landmarks in a single day.
