Travel across Lanzarote from north to south on an approximately 8-hour excursion that brings together some of the island’s most representative landscapes in a single day.
The journey begins at the Timanfaya National Park, the most visited natural site on the island. Here you will follow the Volcano Route and witness geothermal demonstrations at the Islote de Hilario, where the heat left by the 18th-century eruptions can still be felt beneath the surface. An optional camel ride across the volcanic surroundings is also available.
After a stop for lunch (not included) in Mancha Blanca, near the church of Los Dolores, or in the village of Yaiza, the tour continues to La Geria. This distinctive wine-growing area is covered in volcanic ash and marked by semicircular stone walls protecting the vines. Some of the Canary Islands’ most recognised wines are produced here, with the possibility of tasting.
The final visit is to Jameos del Agua, a volcanic formation within the tunnel created by the eruption of the Volcán de la Corona and later transformed by César Manrique into a space where nature and artistic vision coexist.
A varied itinerary that highlights the volcanic, cultural and agricultural contrasts that define Lanzarote.
