Teguise, also known as La Villa, was the historic capital of Lanzarote and still preserves an important architectural heritage. Its cobbled streets, squares and historic buildings are home to museums, art galleries, restaurants and small local shops.
Every Sunday the village transforms with the celebration of its well-known market, where visitors can find local crafts, traditional food products, clothing, souvenirs and live music that brings the historic centre to life.
