Description
Visit the wine-growing landscape of La Geria, one of the most distinctive areas of Lanzarote, on a guided tour through vineyards and traditional wineries. This experience offers insight into the unique cultivation method developed by local farmers to adapt vines to the island’s volcanic soil.
During the excursion you will visit three wineries located in the La Geria valley, where you will observe different styles of wine production, from small family-run wineries to larger facilities. Throughout the tour you will also enjoy views of the volcanic landscape that characterises this region.
Each stop includes a tasting of local wines, with a total of six wines sampled during the activity. At one of the wineries you will also taste Lanzarote goat cheese, a traditional product of the island. The tour takes place in small groups to provide a more personal and relaxed experience while walking among the vineyards.
An opportunity to discover Lanzarote’s wine culture and experience one of the most unique agricultural landscapes in the Canary Islands.
