Discover one of the most impressive landscapes of Lanzarote on a hiking route through the Volcanoes Natural Park, the protected area surrounding Timanfaya National Park.
During the walk you will explore a landscape shaped by the volcanic eruptions that transformed the island between 1730 and 1736. This phenomenon created a unique environment where lava fields, craters, volcanic ash and lava tunnels alternate across the terrain.
The route includes approximately 3 hours of hiking covering around 6 kilometres, with an easy level suitable for people accustomed to walking and for children from a certain age.
Along the way you will observe the wide range of colours that characterise this volcanic landscape, from intense reddish tones to deep blacks and various shades of grey and ochre.
Discover the geological forces that shaped Lanzarote and walk through one of the most distinctive volcanic landscapes in Europe.
