Explore the volcanic landscape of La Geria and discover one of Lanzarote’s most distinctive gastronomic traditions: wine production in vineyards unlike anywhere else in the world.
After pick-up in Playa Blanca, the excursion begins in small groups of no more than eight participants accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide. Along the route you will learn about the unique cultivation method developed by Lanzarote’s farmers, who protect each vine in pits dug into volcanic ash and surrounded by semicircular stone walls.
The tour includes visits to three wineries and several vineyards across the region. Some of them stand out for their production scale, while others remain family-run and preserve traditional winemaking techniques.
During the experience you will taste six local wines, two at each winery, accompanied by the well-known Lanzarote goat’s cheese at one of the stops.
The tour concludes with a full meal of traditional Canary Islands tapas at a winery, served with one drink, completing a gastronomic experience closely connected to the island’s volcanic landscape.
A relaxed and authentic way to discover Lanzarote’s vineyards while enjoying its wine culture in a remarkable natural setting.
