Description
Venture into Lanzarote’s striking volcanic scenery with this private hiking tour in Los Volcanes Natural Park, an ideal route to explore one of the island’s most fascinating natural environments.
Accompanied by an expert local guide, you will follow a trail of approximately 7 kilometres across lava fields, volcanic ash and remarkable geological formations created by the historic eruptions that shaped this landscape.
During the walk, you will learn about the island’s volcanic history, the formation of its landscapes and the natural processes that gave rise to this almost lunar terrain. Along the way, the contrasts of colours, textures and shapes reveal why this area is considered one of the most distinctive landscapes in the Canary Islands.
The route leads to the Santa Catalina crater, where you can enjoy impressive views of the surrounding volcanic scenery and the nearby Timanfaya National Park.
At the summit, there will be a pause to enjoy a Canarian appetiser accompanied by a glass of wine, a perfect moment to rest and take in the views before beginning the return journey.
