Description
Discover the island’s wildest side with the Off-Road Adventure: buggy tour in northern Lanzarote, a guided route that combines driving, volcanic landscapes and some of the island’s most spectacular viewpoints.
Driving a powerful four-seater CanAm Maverick Trail 1000R buggy, you will complete a route where approximately 50% of the journey takes place off-road. The tour is led by professional guides and organised in small groups of a maximum of five vehicles.
The route begins in Costa Teguise and crosses some of the most impressive landscapes in northern Lanzarote. Along the way you will pass through places such as Guatiza, Charco del Palo, Mala, Teguise, Teseguite and El Mojón, combining dirt tracks with scenic roads.
One of the highlights of the tour comes as you climb to Peñas del Chache, the highest point on the island at 670 metres above sea level. From the nearby Mirador de las Nieves, you will enjoy sweeping views over the archipelago and the Famara massif.
During the adventure you will also encounter historical sites such as the Teguise Lime Kilns, reminders of the island’s traditional industry.
Driving through volcanic tracks, quiet villages and natural viewpoints makes this route an exciting and different way to discover the authentic landscapes of Lanzarote.
