Description
Discover the island’s wildest side with the Off-Road Adventure: buggy tour in northern Lanzarote, a guided route that combines driving, nature and spectacular volcanic landscapes.
Driving a powerful four-seater CanAm Maverick Trail 1000R buggy, you will complete a route where approximately 50% of the journey takes place off-road. The tour is organised in small groups of a maximum of five vehicles and led by professional guides.
The adventure begins in Costa Teguise and crosses some of the most striking landscapes in the north of the island. Along the way you will pass through places such as Guatiza, Charco del Palo, Mala, Las Nieves, Teguise, Teseguite and El Mojón, combining dirt tracks with scenic roads.
One of the highlights of the tour comes as you climb to Peñas del Chache, the highest point in Lanzarote at 670 metres above sea level. From the nearby Mirador de las Nieves, you can enjoy impressive panoramic views of the Famara massif and the volcanic landscapes that define the island.
During the route you will also discover the historic Teguise Lime Kilns, a reminder of Lanzarote’s traditional past.
Driving through volcanic tracks, natural viewpoints and quiet villages makes this adventure an exciting and different way to explore the authentic character of Lanzarote.

- A valid driving licence with at least 2 years of experience is required
- Passengers must be at least 135 cm tall
- Vehicle capacity: 1 to 4 people
- Approximate tour duration: 3 hours
