Explore the most impressive volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote on an excursion that visits some of the most iconic places in the south of the island, including Timanfaya National Park, the green lagoon of El Golfo and the unique vineyards of La Geria.
The tour begins at Timanfaya National Park, where you will follow the famous Route of the Volcanoes. Along the route you will see craters, lava flows and the striking colours of the terrain that reflect the volcanic eruptions that transformed this part of the island nearly 300 years ago.
Inside the park you will also witness geothermal demonstrations, showing how volcanic heat is still active beneath the surface. There is also the option to take an optional camel ride through the volcanic landscape.
The excursion then continues to El Golfo, home to the well-known green lagoon formed inside an ancient volcanic crater beside the ocean.
Finally, the tour includes a stop in La Geria, Lanzarote’s unique wine region, where you can enjoy a small wine tasting and learn about the distinctive cultivation system adapted to the volcanic terrain.
