What will we see?
Mesa Roldán
At Mesa Roldán, we’ll enjoy impressive 360º panoramic views of Carboneras, Punta de los Muertos, Agua Amarga, the Sierra de Cabo de Gata, and the Sierra Cabrera.
You may remember the Mesa Roldán Tower from its appearance in the Game of Thrones series. From there, we’ll also see the last inhabited lighthouse and be struck by its rich history.
During the journey, we will pass by the famous Playa de los Muertos beach and, if possible, we will see it from its viewpoint.
Agua Amarga Mineral Loading Dock
The 4×4 vehicle will allow us to access the ruins of the old Agua Amarga mineral loading dock. We will discover how it worked and its beautiful views. This is, without a doubt, one of the impressive legacies left to us by Almería’s important mining history.

In Agua Amarga, there is an olive tree older than those on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. It dates back between 1,500 and 2,000 years, and its shade covers more than 25 meters in diameter.
