Description
Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park offers a distinctive landscape where salt flats, volcanic formations, and coastline come together in a protected environment. This guided excursion provides a comprehensive route through some of its most representative locations, with private transport and personalised attention.
The day begins with pick-up in Almería or at the Barceló Cabo de Gata hotel, followed by a journey in a small group. Throughout the excursion, several stops are made at key sites, combining observation, interpretation of the surroundings, and time to enjoy each location at a relaxed pace.
One of the first highlights is the area of the Cabo de Gata Salt Flats, an important ecological site where bird species such as flamingos can often be observed in their natural habitat. The route continues to the Sirens’ Reef and the lighthouse, where volcanic landscapes and striking rock formations define one of the park’s most iconic views.
The experience also includes visits to protected beaches and coves, where there is time to rest and enjoy a picnic with local products. Depending on conditions, there may be an opportunity to go snorkelling in calm waters.
