Teide National Park is one of the best places in Europe for stargazing. Thanks to its altitude and exceptionally clear skies, it offers ideal conditions for observing the night sky.
This 8-hour excursion combines a guided visit to the Teide Observatory with a stargazing experience under one of the clearest skies in Europe. During the afternoon visit, accompanied by a Starlight guide, you will learn about the scientific work carried out at the observatory and the instruments used to study the Sun and the universe.
As the sun sets, the volcanic landscapes of Teide National Park transform into a spectacular setting. Once night falls, the experience continues with a stargazing session using long-range telescopes near the Teide cable car base station, located at more than 2,300 metres above sea level.
During the excursion there will also be a stop for a short break where you can enjoy a snack. You may bring your own food or choose an optional picnic before the activity.
